On-Site Mentoring
Mentoring provides on-site, client-driven technical consultative services. Activities may include: one-on-one and/or team skill building, software enhancement education, tips and techniques, best practices sessions, standard practices, and/or environment customization. We also provide user assessments to review user skills and recommend targeted training to ensure a user is using the best MCAD features and functionality for their working environment.

This service develops design methodologies that, when incorporated into the product development process, result in the efficient generation of flexible, robust and intelligent MCAD data ensuring consistency and quality of geometry that improves the effectiveness of downstream users and establishes the foundation for productive design reuse.

Pro/ENGINEER Tools & Design Automation
Integrated Pro/ENGINEER tools and techniques are used to automate functionality and capture a product’s design intent. This approach will increase the use of standard design practices and greatly speed up the design of custom products. Standard automation of Pro/ENGINEER uses tools and techniques such as: Relations, Pro/REPORT, Skeletons, Family Tables and Intelligent Master Models. Advanced applications using Pro/PROGRAM can be developed which prompt the user for a number of input parameters and then automatically regenerate parts, assemblies and drawings according to design rules and calculations. Often the user interface, rules, calculations and data will reside outside of the Pro/ENGINEER environment in these applications.

ModelCHECK
PTC™ has developed a productivity tool called ModelCHECK that is used as a “spell checker” for Pro/ENGINEER objects such as parts, assemblies and drawings. This tool evaluates and corrects the objects based on a set of company defined standards, and automates the process of developing robust data that can be easily reused.
