Visible Edge well versed in the design criteria generally used in the design and arrangement of piping systems. Visible Edge is experienced with the various materials used in piping systems and the requirements of stress analysis and pipe supports when designing and laying out pipe systems. We are also experienced in checking pipe fabricators spool drawings and vendors equipment drawings to ensure they conform with piping arrangement drawings and design criteria. The type of piping systems that we have designed for these projects include Mist Eliminators, Limestone Slurry, Gypsum Slurry, Dewatering, Emergency Quench, Recycle, Bleed and Sample, Make-up water, Reclaim Water, Oxidation Air, Overflow, Stack Duct Drain & Filter Feed systems.

Piping materials used in the design process of these systems include fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP), stainless steel, carbon steel & hasteloy. Our current projects involve piping throughout the entire project site. We are responsible for piping from the Absorber to the emergency water storage and make-up water tanks, interfacing with piping at the pipe racks and other destinations throughout the construction site. We also have familiarity with the methods of piping support needed for the various systems and work with the structural support engineers to design the appropriate interfaces.
