On-site or off-site engineering services are provided to augment a company’s internal staff in the completion of major power and petro-chemical plant projects.

Visible Edge is currently employed by various engineering firms designing piping systems for petro-chemical plants and various wet and dry scrubber projects. We have prepared piping arrangement drawings for wet flue gas desulfurization expansion projects using 3D Modeling, P&ID’s, and job specifications provided by clients. We are responsible for coordination with other design disciplines to insure accurate and interference free arrangements.

Clean Fossil Fuel Technology

Visible Edge has provided engineering and design resources for EPC’s in the power industry, successfully completing the design and documentation of piping systems for multiple Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization ( WFGD’s) units for coal fired power plants.

Nuclear Technology

On the nuclear side of the business we have been automating the design and analysis of various pieces of capital equipment used in nuclear power plants such as condensers and feedwater heaters. The applications uses actually extend beyond the engineering environment by allowing a technical sales person to design a piece of equipment, during the sales process, in front of the customer, in under 1 hour, complete with a FEA of the critical parts.
